Palawan Center for the Arts - Der Kammerchor
Der Kammerchor des Palawan Center for the Arts (PCA) ist ein nicht kommerzieller Chor in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippinen. Die Chormitglieder sehen den Gesang als Berufung und als Dienst an der Kirche und ihrem Land. Unter dem vorherigen Namen "Holy Trinity College (HTC) Grand Chorale" haben sich die Sänger immer höhere musikalische Qualitäten und Perfektion erworben.
Mit stetiger Unterstützung und Hilfe von Schwester Teresita M. Medalle, O.P., Ph.D., die die Gruppe inspiriert und führt, haben sich die Sänger als einzigartig hinsichtlich Talent, Disziplin und Pflichtbewußtsein hervorgehoben. In kurzer Zeit erwarb sich der Chor Anerkennung, Wertschätzung und Respekt bei Mitstreitern in den Philippinen.
Der Ruf, den Gesang als besonderes Geschenk in andere Länder zu bringen, wurde zur Mission. Seit 1993 tritt der Chor in Überseeländern wie z.B. Singapur, Thailand, Deutschland, Österreich, Italien und den Vereinigten Staaten auf.
Mit einer starken Vision und neuer Hoffnung wird der PCA Kammerchor weiter seine Mission für Bildung von Jugendlichen und Verbreitung von Kultur und Kunst verfolgen. Die Sänger werden immer Menschen in aller Welt mit der Musik mit ihrer Schönheit, ihrer Kraft und ihrem Zauber begeistern.

Palawan Center for the Arts -the Chamber Choir

Palawan Center for the Arts (PCA) -the Chamber Choir is a non-stock, non-profit choral group based in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines. The group members have always considered singing as their unique calling and special ministry to the church and to the country. Formerly known as the Holy Trinity College (HTC) Grand Chorale, the members have soared to greater heights of music excellence and perfection.
With the untiring support and care of Sister Teresita M. Medalle, O.P., Ph.D., the group's main inspiration and leader, they have distinguished themselves as unparalleled in talent, discipline and commitment. In a short period of time, the group has gained recognition, appreciation and respect among their peers in the Philippines.
The call to share and bring to other lands the uniqueness of their gift has also become a mission to fulfill. Thus since 1993, the group ventured into concertizing overseas, particularly in Singapore, Thailand, Germany, Austria, Italy and the United States.
Indeed, with an enlightened vision and renewed hope, PCA -the Chamber Choir shall continue to pursue its mission for the education of the youth and for the enhancement of culture and the arts. It will always be their joy and fulfillment to enthrall the people all over the world and bring to life the gift of music, its beauty, power and magic.
